National Anthem Audition Date Set

The Thunder is accepting applications for those interested in performing the national anthem during the 2010-11 season. The audition, which will be closed to the public, will take place on Saturday, Sept. 25. Those interested should submit an electronic file or CD/DVD as well as a performance resume. Team USA Advances to Round of 8

Kevin Durant scored 17 points and Russell Westbrook added four points, six assists and three steals to help Team USA defeat Angola, 121-66, on Monday to advance to the round of eight at the FIBA World Championship in Turkey. Krstic, Serbia Down Croatia

66ers Announce Open Tryout Dates

The Tulsa 66ers will hold open tryouts for the 2010-11 season Oct. 9-10 at the Tulsa Convention Center. 66ers coaches and Thunder basketball operations staff will evaluate the prospects.
